The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is pleased to announce that the LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2017 will be held on Wednesday, 18th October, jointly hosted by the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC). The conference will provide the participants with a venue for sharing the latest trends in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market and discussing opportunities and challenges with a view to developing global LNG market.
The LNG Producer-Consumer Conference is a global annual dialogue, starting in 2012. The Conference held last November was attended by over 1,000 people from governments, international organizations, and businesses involved in the LNG industry from over 30 countries and economies.
As the environment surrounding LNG industry has been undergoing a dramatic transformation, Conference 2017 will provide an opportunity to promote active dialogue among LNG producers, consumers and other stakeholders with a view to deepening shared understandings of market trends and to developing global LNG market.
