LNG産消会議2021 (LNG Producer-Consumer Conference 2021)

10月5日（火曜日）、経済産業省及び
アジア太平洋エネルギー研究センター（APERC）は、
「第10回LNG産消会議」を開催しました。

LNGを取り巻く環境が大きく変化する中で、これまで日本、そして世界のエネルギー安定供給と持続的成長を支えてきたＬＮＧが、
世界的な脱炭素化の流れの中で、次の１０年に求められる役割と期待について議論を深めました。
10周年を迎えた本会議では、25ヵ国以上の閣僚級や、約70以上の企業・国際機関のトップからメッセージをホームページに掲載するとともに、
当日は世界55ヵ国以上から約2,000人の参加登録をいただきました。

I’m very pleased to extend many congratulations to the 10th annual LNG Producer-Consumer Conference. Recent events continue to demonstrate the importance and timeliness of this conference. One of the themes of my new book, “The New Map”, is that cooperation and collaboration and mutual understanding is the foundation of the global LNG business, which each year becomes more and more important. This conference embodies that foundation. LNG peak will be sometime after 2050, and remains a very important growth business. Our new IHS market study shows the role of gas in net zero, drawing some important conclusions for LNG. Many congratulations to METI for its leadership in convening this conference, which plays such an important role in the essential communication among producers and consumers through the market cycles.
